Hands on Training with Science models

Newton’s cradle

Newton's cradle is a device, usually made of metal, that demonstrates the principles of conservation of momentum and conservation of energy in physics with swinging spheres.

Electrical Wiring

Electrical Wiring is a process of connecting cables and wires to the related devices such as fuse, switches, sockets, lights, fans etc. to the main distribution board is a specific structure to the utility pole for continues power supply.

Persistence of Vision

Persistence of vision is the optical illusion that occurs when the visual perception of an object does not cease for some time after the rays of light proceeding from it have ceased to enter the eye.

Sun Dial

A sundial is a horological device that tells the time of day (referred to as civil time in modern usage) when direct sunlight shines by the apparent position of the Sun in the sky. In the narrowest sense of the word, it consists of a flat plate (the dial) and a gnomon, which casts a shadow onto the dial.

Bird in the cage

This effect occurs when pictures of a bird and an empty cage are pasted on opposite sides of a rectangular sheet of metal, which can be spun around a vertical axis using a handle fixed to a gear at the base.

Gyroscope

A Gyroscope demonstrates the principles of angular momentum and rotational stability. A simple gyroscope model is constructed with a bicycle wheel with handles, a low-friction stool or chair, the handles are attached to the bicycle wheel for easier spinning, ensuring the wheel can spin freely.
